This is the chemical formula for Cellular Respiration. Cellular respiration is the process that animal cells go through to provide energy for the body to use and for the cells to live. This is probably the most important process in the cell, and, therefore, has been tattooed on my right wrist, and my best friend’s left wrist. We are both Biology Majors and as a testament to my (and her) love for science and medicine, as well as we each other, I have the products of cellular respiration on my wrist, and she has the reactants. Only our tattoos together will form the complete chemical equation which will always remind me of how much she means to me, and will always remind me of just how important my second-half is.
