With the first week of classes over, I can breathe a sigh of relief. It went well, all things considered. I really enjoy my classes and my professors. They both seem interesting and reasonable. I actually can feel myself getting excited to be in class and learning again. When listening to lectures, I enjoy taking my notes. I enjoy writing things down to review later. I just love learning. It’s weird because I used to be this way. Somewhere along the route in education, I got annoyed at all things dealing with education. Now, my excitement is back! It’s awesome.
Course, I have two online classes as well. One is extremely easy. It only has 7 things to do in the entire class. Mind you, its self-paced and self-motivation is a must. Of course, I don’t have the best time management skills…so its going to take a bit of extra work on my part. The other class seems to be my favorite class thus far. It’s not going to give me much trouble (I don’t think) as far as work load. And the subject matter [Sociology] interests me a great deal! So I’m excited about this class as well.
But as far as my week goes, it was a pretty awful one. Car was in the shop 4 out of the 5 weekdays. It’s back with me, though has the same issue as before it went in both times. I finally feel like I’m getting somewhere, though because we discovered something new happening. We think that transmission fluid and water is leaking from somewhere, somehow. It would of course help if I knew the somewhere or somehow. But I don’t. So, it’s probably gonna go back in the shop on Tuesday when they open. *sigh*
Tomorrow is my parent’s first attempt at a Bible Study (or Christian social group). I am not really attending…as much as I am there for babysitting. Joshua is the cutest baby ever. Ever. My heart is his forever.
MLK day is Monday. I am thankful for a quick break, because I am already getting overwhelmed by everything. I need to breathe and take everything one week at a time. It’ll cause me less anxiety and stress this way.
Car and school aside, everything else seems to be in order. Laptop will be here hopefully this week. My friends are the best. Catching up on Dexter each night. Sleep schedule seems to be in order (or at least manageable). You. Everything’s great.
xoxo
